Rotary Sail into Life
28 May
2017

Rotary Sail into Life is an initiative of the three Bunbury Rotary Clubs and proudly supported by Enable WA.

Based at Koombana Bay Sailing Club this longstanding accessible sailing program provides an opportunity for people with disabilities and their family/friends to experience the freedom and fun of sailing on the local Bunbury waters.  Sail into Life runs during the week and on the weekend and we encourage anyone interested to give it a go.  Skilled volunteer skippers and a safety boat ensure that everyone is safe and supported whilst enjoying a sail on the bay. Our fleet of five sailing dinghies has been specially designed to accommodate people with disabilities and a hoist is available for people who require assistance to board the dinghies.

The new and exciting Accessible Motorised Multiuse Pontoon project is underway.  This vessel is currently being built and is expected to launched in the coming season.  Expressions of interest are being taken from people wanting to try fishing, crabbing or touring.

For more information about participating or becoming a volunteer in the sail into Life program please contact reception@enablewa.org.au or the sailing coordinator sharon@enablewa.org.au
